Denny S. Roja has more than 25 years of experience in the technology, software, telecommunications, healthcare, financial services and food industries. He serves as an Executive Advisor to a select group of technology startups and emerging growth companies facing complexities in doing business in Silicon Valley.
He has been advising CEOs, founders and entrepreneurs meet the unique needs of startups - from corporate formation, establishing their governance structures, serve as General Counsel and/or interim CFO, help secure venture capital financing. Presently, Nichel O. Gaba is the CEO and co-founder of fintech startup Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX). From June to August of 2016, he was the Corporate Advisory - Summer Associate in Evercore, an Investment Banking Intern at Macquarie Capital, Macquarie Group Ltd. from June to August of 2015.
His career flourished from being the Treasurer of HSBC Retirement Trust Fund, Inc, to Vice President, Head of Corporate Trust and Loan Agency, to Interim Head of the Trust Department (Investment Management) in Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. In the early years of 2010 to 2013, he was the Head of Business Management in HSBC Securities Services (HSS), and from 2009 to 2010 he was a Management Associate at HSBC in London and Hong Kong where he completed HSBC’s global management training programs, and ranked as an “Outperformer”. He studied Bachelor of Science, Major in Management Engineering and graduated as Cum Laude in Ateneo de Manila University, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter holder from CFA Institute, he also studied Master’s of Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Real Estate from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
